The New Mexico Department of Health reported 762 new COVID-19 cases in the state on Friday (Sept. 17), including four new cases in Taos County.
The total number of cases in Taos County is currently at 2,165. No new deaths were reported for the area, leaving the total number of disease -connected deaths at 58.
Statewide, a total of 244,720 cases have been reported since the start of the pandemic, with 211,892 recovered, according to the NMDOH. A total of 354 individuals were hospitalized for COVID-19 through Sept. 16. The current number of deaths statewide is 4,675.
