Speaking on the occasion, Pramanik said Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on all Indian government ministries to work in tandem for the overall development of JK.
He said the prime minister is keen to speed up the pace of development in the Union territory for which the central government has a separate plan.
Pramanik said the Center has adopted a series of development programs and individual benefit programs aimed at the overall socio-economic development of the UT population.
He added that public sector companies are also running a series of training programs for unemployed youth at JK.
The Minister also met various stakeholders, including market gardeners, the Federation of Pulwama traders, the industrial association IGC Lassipora, saffron producers and beneficiaries of the national rural subsistence mission who informed him of their requests. and grievances.
He assured that the requests and grievances projected by the delegations were taken into account and that the same would be submitted to the Union government as well as the Lieutenant Governor for redress in due course.
The Minister said that the Union government under the leadership of the Prime Minister is determined to accelerate the development scenario of UT and that drastic changes will be observed by the people in the coming days.
He said the Indian government has already worked on various flagship programs aimed at developing the socio-economic status of the people and a number of new programs are also in the pipeline.
