The New Mexico Department of Health announced 3,658 new COVID-19 cases on Monday (Nov. 22), including 45 new cases in Taos County.
The state also reported 14 additional deaths Monday, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic in New Mexico to 5,277. No new deaths were reported for Taos County, which recorded 69 COVID-19-related deaths. The latest death for the county was reported Thursday (Nov. 19), a woman in her 60s who was a resident at Taos Living Center.
The total statewide cases stood at 298,313 with 305,579 cases designated as recovered by the New Mexico Department of Health. Currently, 559 individuals are hospitalized with COVID-19 in the state.
